Whale Head
Shallow Reef Exchange, Channels & Eagle Ray Trajectory
Whale Head is one of Cabo’s gentler and more accessible dive sites — ideal for divers across experience levels. Beginning in shallow water, this reef transitions through underwater channels into rock structures and coral outcrops. It’s well known for eagle rays, colorful reef fish, and relaxed conditions.
🤿 The Dive
You’ll start in shallow reef zones, exploring coral gardens and channels carved between rock formations.
These corridors lead to deeper rocky chambers and open reef outcrops. The maximum depth typically reaches ~50 ft (15 m), though many explore comfortably in shallower ranges like 30 ft (10 m). Whale’s Head begins at ~5 ft and may extend down to ~50 ft
